This NBA Lockout/strike is turning me off on both sides and I'm starting not to care if the have a season or not! How about you?

Yeah I hate the greed but I miss the game, even if it has diminished into a bunch of reckless athletes with poor fundamentals. The Knicks are finally relevant again, and of course there's a ****ing lockout!

I'm just about holding on- I'd love to be able to just walk away from it all, but I won't for now. It's the owners who have really riled me- the greed, the fact that some of them will genuinely see the game ruined, just to plumpen the amount of money they make when they sell their team- those are the ones that really put me off being a fan. The poorer owners who genuinely want a bit of financial help, I can see where their coming from and even though I don't agree with them, they don't p*** me off as much as the Allen's and Sarver's.

If we lost a season, I don't think I'd be back and I don't think the quality of the game would be worth coming back for, to be honest- a year off would ruin a lot of players careers.

I'll forget about it all if they start playing soon, but I really doubt they will.

MAN, I not only love the game, I'm addicted to watching it. Sure, I will adapt to not having it but once the lock out is over,....DirecTV League Pass.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Prefer they strike a bargain and have remainder of season. It's pretty bleak having only football to watch this winter. And that's half over.

Let's go -- 51% it is and let's play.

I really hope they have a season. There are things I am sick of (i.e. seeing Melo tweet about sneakers and his wife's show when the labor situation seems dire). However, I also want to see Shump, Jorts and maybe Jordan get some run. I really missed the summer leagues and the exhibition games where you get to see these guys play. D'Antoni eased up a bit last year and gave some young guys run. I hope there is a season and these guys get to play.

I'm pretty disgusted by all this posturing. If there's no season I'll still miss it but only after football ends.

I'm not turned off by any of it because I'm not paying much attention. I stopped caring a couple of years ago.

I cannot believe this season may possibly go down the tubes.

I hate the players, I hate the owners and I hate the fact that all the smug basketball purists who think NCAA basketball is really all there is to "real" basketball, will have this greed-driven debacle to add to the Tim Donaghy fiasco.

I will have no defense.

I feel the same way. I haven't logged on here in months, thats how much I don't care anymore.

who wants a season? I mean really... missing watching 4-5 months of meaningless basketball to watch the no defense Melo led Knicks lose in the first round seems like a waste of time to me. I think Im better off without this season. They are doing me a favor
