Nash -
"Reunited and it feels so GOOD!" me and @Amareisreal. Wattup boy?!

He's such a funny guy. To bad we couldn't bring him along with STAT. That combo was something else. Man the one thing missing from the D'Antoni offense has been that deadly P&R they had. Only Stockton and Malone did better.

Nash looks old in that picture.

You know Nash plays Soccer and I bet that endurance training does wonders for keeping him in such great shape. Those Soccer dudes run all day on that soft grass and you almost never really hear of those guys coming down with the same problems as NBA players. Kinda like KG running on the beach. Those lower impact surfaces might have some benefits for all players if they chose to train that way. I'd love to see a video of Nash's workout regimen.

Nash has to be our backup plan to Chris Paul. He is a FA after this year and i feel as if we can give him a 2-year contract and he will remain a strong starting PG. Right now he's a top 15 player in the league. He will begin to decline at some point, but he will definitely still be a top-50 player into his very early 40s. If we can keep a couple of strong backup guards behind him to keep his minutes reasonable, he can definitely help us win a championship.

Caption entry: "I want to be with Stupid"

I read awhile ago Nash trains by riding skateboards down stairwells. It helps him to get on the IR sooner.

I can see Nash in a Knick uniform and can imagine all the threads complaining about his piss poor defense which, he has gotten a pass for practically his whole career. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Nash brought in but, I know what to expect if it ever happened.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Funny but quiet as it's kept, the Knicks still have a young team. Losing Gallo, Chan & Moz really wasn't the end of the world that some make it out to be. I'm also not worried about picks we may have given up. We've got enough young talent to fill roles IMO. It's not like we've got any lottery picks in our future to be concerned about. If we can sign one FA C I think this team will be ready for battle.

nix! I agree with you! And it's actually pleasant! We're the fourth-youngest team in the league!

Although I personally think Turiaf is in his mid-fifties and is using one of his sister's birth certificates.

Turiaf is part of the core? The core of what, medical disability corps? Despite the hype and the history, CB was a throw in with Melo.

So that leaves Melo and Stat being toast by the time they're 30?

I had Iman in there in my original list, Nalod somehow deleted it in his response.

As for the 3 year thing, that's just not a fair look at the team. For example when the Celtics big 3 came together Pierce was 30, KG was 31 and Allen was 32!!! Last year they were still a top team with those guys at 33, 34 & 35 respectively! We got our stars even more in their prime at 26 & 27. So you guys think we'll be done when Melo and STAT are 29 & 30 or 30 & 31, when the C's won a title at that age and have been challenging at 33, 34 & 35??? That is possible, but highly unlikely.

Love Steve Nash but as Mark Jackson often says - Father Time Remains Undefeated.

Nash is one of the all-time greats and while I'd love to see him in a Knick uniform it would be too late -- he is already a few years past his expiration date.

No matter how great you train -- injuries will surface and the inactivity the injuries create --- reduces the greatness/effectiveness.

It's the reason every great player in NBA history -- had to call it quits eventually.

stockton and malone may have done it slightly better, but nash and amare made it look better... nash with his creative passes and amare with his amazing finishes...
