These certainly doesn't look like a solid union of players when the other 420 players are sitting home. So while 12/15 players go on the road and make there own money, the others must sit by the phone. The highest paid players in the league, organize a tour, and leave the rookies and mid level players behind.

They better get a deal done fast, cause this will certainly decertify the union, it's just a matter of time. I'm not sure what kinda of message there sending to the owners by doing this, but it's idiotic and kinda of seflish.

Union of workers making millions each in salary is a joke.
It is not a union, it is a cartel.
Professional unions are dead in general.
Our days theare are people who can sustain themselves and who cannot.
Union of winners and union of losers.

They need to sell sneakers and expose their brand.

Melo left the tour.

Yeah, but would YOU want your franchise and star players doing barn storming tours across the globe. The chance for injury or something awful happening to one of them would worry me.

I'm hoping some enterprising billionaires decide to start their own league to put pressure on the NBA.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Yes, I can just imagine there are loads of enterprising billionaires who just sit back and look at these proceedings and think "wow, I am just so in love with the idea of dealing with Player Unions and celeb player's who are their own brand and agents and cranky fans who despise the pro game the second March Madness begins, and..."

wow, you sound like an angry disillusioned fan. Or are you just contentious by nature cause the sarcasm was uncalled for.

wow, i'm not angry, nor disillusioned. The NBA is a business, and I'm a fan of the sport, not stupid fat cat players or billionaire owners who are running a business, not a sport.

I post my opinion; i disagreed with your point, if my sarcasm hurts you, my apologies (martin, you listening?) Your point that there are plenty of billionaire capitalists just waiting to start a new league is bit naive, given the current circumstances the sport finds itself in.

no, didn't hurt me, just thought it was uncalled for. I never said it would happen or was in the realm of possibility so, I don't know what point your speaking of. I hope, there is an afterlife...I hope my paycheck is correct and I can hope some filthy rich guys decide to form their own league.

People need to calm down and realize its a sport. Your that caught up maybe you need some help.

1) there's an afterlife.
2) even if your paycheck's not correct, the bank's probably stupid enough to cash it anyway.

Just consider that particular hope #3 as squashed, okay? It's nothing personal, it's just my job.

And I'm always calm, despite needing help.

that was actually pleasantly humorous. I don't do banks...I hide my money in the mattress or bury it in the backyard. Consider Hope 3squashed
