Billy Hunter sent the email to players cancelling regional meeting in Miami on Sunday at 11:12 PM on Saturday.

Hopefully this is because he is meeting with owners.

So yes, union talked with players in Miami on Saturday; will meet with more in LA on Monday. And NBA will cancel first two weeks of season.» WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
Via union source: Meeting was scheduled for Sunday but players in Miami for FIU game requested it be held on Saturday night. So they had it.

Hopefully they're bluffing, and have arranged a meeting with owners today- it seems odd that they would suddenly have the players meeting a day early with no announcement before hand- it wouldn't give players who weren't at saturdays game a chance to attend. Also the announcement at 11pm, would fit in with Stern and Silver finishing their religious obligations at sunset and then getting in touch with Hunter. But then maybe I'm just grasping at straws!

Here's hoping they can pull off a deal- I need to know also as i've just moved flats and i'm not going to bother getting broadband if there's no basketball!
