I haven't read any reports on what what Michael Jordan thinks about the strike and where he comes down on all these issues now that he's an owner and not a player. I think that's a great question.

his take would be most interesting... actually, if I had to bet, I'd bet on his line of thinking being along the lines of nixluva's hypotheticals. he wouldn't mind paying an elite talent like himself, but hates paying millions for mediocre players

MJ thinks the profitable teams should pay him for being in the league.

He did give his two faced opinion on the strike and he said something about needing a hard cap? What you from the Large market Bulls? I'll try and find his quote later.

He owns a small market team right????
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

So because he owns a small market team that make it right for him to have gotten paid 20 to 30 million a year and now as an owner want a hard cap? I like your way of thinking?

Better question would be: Does Michael Jordan think?

I'm sure if he had some insane cure for all this, we would have heard it by now.

you have NO IDEA what I was thinking!! Built up a whole scenario in your mind huh?

I make no excuses for Jordan...I have in the past and will likely always loath him. He's a dik now and was a dik as a player....marketing his shoes to urban youths who's parents had to borrow from Peter to pay Paul just to afford them. My mom never brought me any but I know (as a parent myself) how hard it can be to deny your kids.

Magic Johnson was right to call him out for his lack of charitable work

What does this have to do with what you said? You said he is a small market owner right, to suggest he was right in someway? I did not like Jordan growing up either and would never side with him on anything. He will always be an enemy of knick fans.

He feels he deserves the bigger piece of the pie.

So when he was a player he felt he felt he earned it by creating fans making the league what it is today.

Today, he is a owner, he feels he is entitled to a bigger share because he is making the investment....

Well what exactly was his relationship with the Players Association when he was a player? Didn't he eventually leave the NBPA? I know he's not part of their licensing deal, that's why he was never rarely in any video games until NBA 2K11. The Players Association deal and the salary cap no doubt put a cap on what his "free market" value would have been to the Bulls and the league.

Michael Jordan's opinion may be interesting (probably not), but he's clearly in a class by himself. And he's made it abundantly clear that he'd rather be known for his opinions on his brand of underwear etc.

I'd be more interested if he's in on a lockout pool. Dude loves to gamble still I reckon?

still making up your own scenario's!! The title of the thread is what does Michael think right??? It doesn't ask to agree or condemn but, to pose a theory of what is going on in his dome in regards to the lockout. As a the owner of a small market team, he would likely be one of the turds holding things up. Where in those few words (of my original post) did I ever agree with anything.
