How are they gonna sell more tickets by getting rid of RAHIM AND RATLIFF , leaving only Terry as exciting player along with Rahweed wallace. LOL
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Sheed can only be traded if Atlanta uses a trade exception. That is how the Knicks got Nazr for Doleac and Pryzbilla. The Knicks got TT & Pryzbilla for KVH and invoked the trade exception to send him to Atlanta with Doleac in exchange for Nazr.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Deke should've been traded for Joe Smith before the KVH/TT/NAZR deal

It's my understanding that Wallace cannot be traded with any other player for 60 days, After the 60 days he can be included with other players subject to general salary cap rules. Also, I believe that any players included in a trade a trade can be traded within 24 hours of the initial trade.

The trade exception requires one (recently acquired) player to be traded from the team invoking the exception. A trade exception can be used within the 60-day trade restriction period.

Check the link that Bobby (who finally got something right ) posted.

the post says Isiah's covering up: Thomas walked up to Dikembe Mutombo during free-throw drills yesterday and talked to him briefly. Suffice it to say, Thomas didn't tell him he won't be traded by Thursday's deadline.

In the wake of obtaining Mohammed, Thomas gave a weak, clipped endorsement of Mutombo yesterday. Asked if he has a bright future, Thomas paused and said, "He has a bright future." When asked if it was with the Knicks, he said, after another awkward pause, "I would say so."
