I hope Zeke doesn't just pawn him off though, hopefully we can get a decent player in return. If not, I say we are better off keeping him.

Seriously, I hope he gets traded. I love Deke, both as a NBA personality and as a player (albeit the dude has seen better days). And after next year when he retires, what are you left with?

Here's the way I look at it: Is Deke gonna be a piece that brings the NBA championship to you? No. He has seen his better days; however, he could be the final piece for a team out west. Why not trade him for something that is actually valuable.

who would toronto give us for him, Eric Montross. Minnesota dosen't seem to have anybody to give us and i think we can get better that Ruben from the blazers

I agree but I hope we get something of decent value in return, like a pick or something. I don't want to just trade him for someone that will be buried on our bench for the rest of the year, because then we would be better off to just keep Deke. Maybe we can somehow land Olowakandi by giving them Mutombo (and maybe something else)?

Lol, same trade I was coming up with. Yea if Minnesota would trade the Kandi man for Deke I would do it in a hearbeat.

I really hope that doesn't happen, because then we probably don't get Rasheed. I don't think that Atlanta wants Francis though since they are in rebuilding mode right now. But hey, you never know.

atlanta doesnt wanna keep sheed. They only want him for cap relief.

If you are talking about the offseason, the Hawks are gonna release him to save money. The reason why the traded for Rasheed was so that Rasheed could hopefully sell them enough tickets until the rest of the year, then at the end of the year they plan to release him so that they can save a lot of money and go into a complete rebuilding mode.
