Thanks so much for posting this. I'm so starved for basketball that this was a nice treat to see some highlights. Yeah it's like pick up game stuff, but it's at least high level talent and Iman looks like a vet already. That's where his elite physical talent comes into play. It's not like he's going up against scrubs. Can you imagine how impressive he looked against other PG prospects in the Knick workouts? No wonder MDA wanted him. Would you pass on this kid if you saw him playing like this in a workout? He's bigger and stronger than other guards that are actually in the league. You mix that size and strength with Quickness, handle and athletic ability and you have a player that can make an impact. Even more is that he's a 2 way player!!!

Oh man I'm getting so excited for Shump! Makes me wish Donnie was still with the team. Any update on GM candidates?

Glen Grunwald is holding down the day to days and Isiah is the behind the scenes GM. People will just have to accept it and move on. Anytime something serious needs to be done, Dolan will call up Isiah and there's nothing anyone can do about it. You can't stop people from having "friendly conversation".

The most important thing isn't Isiah at this point. It's how well Iman plays and the rest of the squad comes together. If we can sign a Vet C I think this team is gonna be one of the top 4 in the East. Let's hope Iman can show some skill running PnR, cuz if he does this team will be in great shape!

Every time I see this kid do an interview it's the same thing. He's smart and humble, but confident. He feels like a Knick. When you think about the kind of guys we've been bringing in he seems to fit in perfectly. Guys that were doubted like Landry and ShawnE with a bit of chip on his shoulder, but not a big out of control ego. You don't feel he's one of those players that feels entitled. He is ready to put in work. Just the kind of guys we want on this team. Man I can't wait for the season!!!!

Does anyone know when Iman's going to be playing at the Impact courts this weekend (Saturday through Monday)? I'm going to be in Vegas and I've definitely gotta see him play. I'd love to write something about his game too if I go.

Dude I did ask him, as well as post here! But if you look at his Twitter he's doing some word of a day thing that forms a sentence and I highly doubt that in the middle of the sentence he'd take the time to reply to my Tweet haha. So far he hasn't replied.

So far, Iman looks and talks the part... and his game performance and workout clips suggest that his skills are growing.

Does anyone know if anyone's playing the coach for these teams? I mean... couldn't the players pool some money together and grab an unemployed coach/commentator (ex Fratello, JVG, etc) or a former player (let's say, maybe a John Stockton or Mark Price-type of guard) as a tutor?

You know, someone who could provide some definition around play calling.

Donnie left the final decision on taking Iman or Singleton up to MDA from what I heard.
