If the Knicks can get Wallace they will have finally put together an excellent roster. Wallace will start at the 4 and Thomas at the 5. Mohammed will be the main big man off the bench. Sweetney will also see minutes if he's still around. If Mutombo is still around he will have to demand some minutes, but he won't be very reliable. We will have an excellent team though, most talented in the east, and definitely ready to compete for a championship.
C K.Thomas, Mohammed, Mutombo
PF Wallace, Sweetney, Harrington
SF T.Thomas, Patterson?, Johnson
SG Houston, Hardaway
PG Marbury, Norris, Williams.

It's still possible to get Sheed in the offseason, but what Isiah is doing now is giving himself options just in case that doesn't happen or if KT leaves and Deke decides to retire.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Seriously, why not? The guy is just coming off of a 80 million dollar contract. If he has a understanding with his new team that he will sign for 3 years to get the Bird Rights and then to do another contract, it's worth it.

Really, how are we to know what Sheed wants. Maybe it's just to stay in one town with his family and not be traded. Or something.

we all know what Weed wants... I mean Sheed. And i'd like to see him play at the 5, and live in the post and leave the treys and wing position play to Houston, Marbury, Thomas.

The Big Apple is a place ALOT of players want to end up...
But because of prior management many did not as we seemed to have been going the way of the Dodo as far as championship hopes are concerned.
Now that we have a real team with balance an extreme potential...
We will draw the attention of players looking to win in an exciting climate like NYC. Portland, Atlanta, Utah, etc etc... Those places are great if your a family man with no real social life and hunger for excitement. With the exception this offseason somewhere around 6 Mil. A player like sheed might want to take the 2Million dollar hit for a Fun Life in a potentially great team. As other could as well. He's young enough where down the line.. we could offer him a real pay day... He's solid enough where he'll contribute for the next 5 years at least. We're looking good!

Yeah, When I went to school down in D.C. (Howard U.) we all called it Chocolate City.

Parliament even made a song about Washington D.C., with the same title.
