Maybe we need to discuss the lock out and rant typically assisgn blame.

Easy to blame the owners who are wealthy to begin with.

At the same time I don't begrudge the players who need to get what they can when they can.

I am very sympathetic to the owner for Eddy Curry type contracts and the player that does not live up to what they are paid.

Perhaps I am sympathetic more to the fan of those teams. I know we are past all this now but I think a healthier NBA breads better competition and better teams.

Teams need their superstars and at the same time those stars need to be free to move about after a certain time. I get that. I like when baseball gives the losing player team thier no. 1 pick. Problem is a team losing a player might have actually traded their pick the year before to try to get a quick fix player to make the current team better. Then the team loses its star player and that pick could be the no. 1 pick. Also, the team recieving the star players should rise in ranking making the pick less valuable.

Only Isiah figured out how to get a "star" player and trade two no. 1 picks and the team gets worse making those picks even more valuable. Isiah built the Bulls.

I do like the tax system as in baseball and the NBA. Maybe NFL upfront money with most years guaranteed is the way to go?

Owners will always be pig captains of industry buying franchises as play things. ITs like owning a star horse at the Kentucky Derby.

In the absence of the Yankees I'd rooting for the Brewers to go all the way! Small Market teams need to succeed also!

Owners hands down biggest frauds! This modern era has never been about profits. Now all of a sudden they want to fix it so no one can lose? It's already Anti free market. The owners fought for and signed the last CBA after having their accountants go over the deal to make sure it was advantageous to them. So if it wasn't that's the owners fault.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.
