Wow... it actually seems like a fair trade I think....
If we add a 2nd Round pick.. It would be very fair...
But.. I think Houston could get more in return from another team...

I'd certainly love to have him over Houston...
They are both good shooters...
But Francis takes it to the hoop...
He drives and draws fouls...
Houston does not...

I heard that caller on WFAN, and thought he was on crack too.

If the Rockets would want to do it, I'd take the deal before they come to their senses.

yea i agree. also i think killa4luv needs to understand the amount of talent we are talking here with an imagined marbury and francis back court. sometimes talent, in cases like this, superceeds positions.look at bonzi right?same body type basically as steve.

you could say how is francis going to give up size and guard people like tmac? well for one the magic wont be in the playoffs anytime soon, and two nobody is shutting down tmac.

You guys have got to be out of your minds. That is the worst trade proposal i have heard yet. Steve Francis is a point guard, if his mentality is shooting guard, then so what, he still has a point guard type body. Running the 2 guard may have been alright in college but in the NBA only Allen Iverson could play an undersized 2 (and not very well might i add). The reason why the sixers keep losing is because Iverson shoots a horrible percentage and is often injured, not because he isnt a good shooter but rather because he is undersized. Lets not turn the knicks into the sixers please.

If it did I'd do that in a heartbeat. So what if we have 2 PG's, we could always trade Francis(although I'd rather keep him). Francis could get you a SUPERSTAR in return. Houston couldn't get you one by himslef. And Houston's problems with his knees definitely raises concern.

Definitely a no brainer.

You are all so quick to get rid of houston. Right now we could use a shooter like H20. We need some1 to hit that jumper, especially when the games on the line. You can't expect marbury to do everything.
Atleast hold onto allan for the remainder of the season.

firstly Francis is a damn good shooter and can hit that jumper. secondly he can take it to the hole,possibly better than anyone else in the entire league. you wouldn't be expecting marbury to do everything are you crazy?francis is a BIG time player.

as much as people on this board complain about ah's contract, how could yo not do this deal? not that it will happen...
