Yeah I saw that. Probably the single worst part of the trade was Dolan giving in on sending Moz along in the trade. IMO the only reason Denver did it was to stick it to NY. They didn't really want him. They just kept asking for more and more cuz they sensed the desperation from Dolan. I really hope we can get him back, cuz he never should've left in the 1st place.

C'mon man, they didn't try to "stick it" to us, its just business. Dolan was foaming at the mouth and showed his hand. Denver knew he was the fool and Dolan was weak. They can use him as he is an asset. Dude can play. What his upside is who knows, but he is an asset with value.

Walsh's goal was to win a championship. He left. Dolans goal is to pay for the new pretty garden.

Nah I still think they tried to actually damage the team by taking away as much of the youth and in particular our only true Center. They didn't need him and yeah I know he's another asset, but how much of an asset if he wasn't going to get any burn? At one point he wasn't in any of the deals and then they kept raising the demands as well know Dolan was all too willing to give them what they wanted. In the end you had to do the deal, but he seemed like an unnecessary addition. I can understand your point of view, but I still get the feeling they wanted to add an ounce of pain to the deal.

I think the Knicks were in such a compromised position once Dolan became involved that the Denver GM was smart to try and get everything he could. I don't think there was anyway Walsh does that trade. I think Melo would have forced the issue and either ended up with the Nets or the Nuggets would have taken less.

In the end it always comes back to Dolan! He thinks he's so smart. I can tell that he's still listening to Isiah. I can just see Isiah telling Dolan that Walsh was a detriment to getting the big deals done. After the Lebron debacle I think Dolan really believed that Walsh was an issue in Lebron not coming or at least that Lebron wasn't impressed and Isiah and Dolan feared Walsh would mess up the Melo deal. I think Dolan did the deal on his own, but his frame of mind was influenced by his talks with Isiah. Dolan is of course a horrible negotiator, but he thinks he's a real business man.

Old news in any regard. Nuggs extracted were smart to extract max value regardless of motive. At the end of the day thats what GM's are suppose to do for their teams.

Certainly the Nuggets GM did his job and Dolan didn't let his GM do his. Still we've got Jordan and Jorts to try and develop. Hopefully these young men can provide some help at the C spot. There's some talent there, let's hope they can excel. Moz wasn't a finished product and he wasn't irreplaceable, but it would've been nice to see how he developed with this group.

Nobody says moz was untouchable, but he has tools that are hard to find for a free agent.

If Dolan had not gotten involved and if Anthony had made a stronger statement that the Knicks were the only place he wanted to be, we could have easily kept Moz and 1 or 2 off our draft picks in the trade.

I think the real Nugget in the NYK arse in this trade was having to take Balkman back...

Can someone please post the statistics around how many retarded blues guitarists manage to die from high voltage amplifier malfunctions?

Why do you miss a foul machine with bad hands? Moz is nothing special....time will prove me right.
