Really wish we still had this guy on the team. To trade him in the 1st year of his NBA career was just wrong, he was just starting to settle in and his play was improving. I am glad he is taking this opportunity to go back home to a comfortable situation. I hope Gallo does the same...

Had enough Melo?

Mozgov was improving but the biggest problem is he can't rebound and that is one of our biggest weaknesses. We need a starting center who can rebound. Mozgov might be a solid backup center but by no means is a potentially solid backup center like him something to complain over losing. We have the right to Jerome Jordan who will quickly make us forget about Mozgov and hopefully is a strong enough rebounder and defender to become our long-term starting center.

I know stats are not everything but I think you need to go and check his rebound numbers when he got significant minutes. He wasn't the best rebounder but he was adequate.

I dont want to be negative on Jerome Jordan before he plays a game in a knick uniform but he has no where close the experience Mozgov does. Mozgov played in the euroleage for years and was the starting center on his national team. As you said we hope.

Jordan is a proven college player, probably the top true center in that draft class in terms of production, so it depends on your opinion of experience. I would say Jordan is more proven and less of a wild card coming into the NBA. I think he has slightly more upside too.

ANyone have any updates on him? I hope he's improving to the point where he could be on court without being a hug liability.
