Agreed. Rautins may or may not be a D-League guy, but Carter is a valuable guy to have for the team.

Imagine the mentoring Shumpert would get with carter and bllups

I also expect carter to not take it easy with shumpert. Iremember reading something Pat Riley once said Carter's team always wins during practice because of his intensity.

That's pretty interesting. I'd love for him to get resigned and get some time on the floor before a game 4 sweep. Landry can find a new BFF.
