About the dunk contest: I think it's very annoying that Desmond Mason was not invited to participate. With the NBA's inconsistent rules, I heard that Mason had too much league experience. What about Ricky Davis? Isn't he a 7-year veteran? I think it would have been nice to create a rivalry among the best dunkers instead of having new faces every time...
The 3pt shootout is kind of interesting--- quite a number of players are participating who I don't consider "great" shooters - Billups, Mobley, and Lewis don't strike me as pure shooters.
I'd sooner have some high-volume chuckers like Baron Davis, Ray Allen (as pure as it gets), T-Mac, and Finley in there...
Or young guys like: Jiri Welsh, Casey Jacobsen, Gordon Giricek...

Well if you wanna argue bout sumtin for all star weekend, i guess it have to b Earl Boykins is in the 989 Skills Challenge and yet they somehow left out kidd. O well, whose to complain, marbury's still in it
