I don't like this.
We need to add more players not give up assets to get one player that is not a need by the way.

#17 + ? = #11 (or better)

? = TD
? = Fields
? = Shawne Williams

I wish some of these articles would make some sense.

People that are against it don't know the whole story. Of course none of us do, but to assume that the Knicks are making a mistake is wrong. They may have a pretty clear plan of what they want to do. Perhaps they want to move up to take Jimmer, but still intend to buy a pick to land one of the bigs later. I'd have no problem with this.

I'm pretty sure that the Knicks have sent scouts to other workouts Jimmer has had and if they're after him, they have a good reason to be high on him. We'll see if these rumors are true. I just wouldn't assume that they're making a mistake looking to trade up for him.

you write a draft article saying that the Utah Jazz want Jimmer Fredette, you get maybe 50,000 hits.

you write a draft article that throws in the little nugget that the Knicks are trying to trade up for Jimmer, you get about 1,000,000 hits.

there are a lot of knicks fans, whichs equals a lot of clicks. :shrugs:

Or maybe they know that the Hornets are interested in Jimmer and are moving up to pick him for THEM (i.e., in preparation for a CP3 trade this season). One can speculate...

Thats a good one! This thing getting its own life force before our eyes! Jimmer and Cap fodder Billups for Chris Paul! Reality is Fields the 17 for Jimmer, Billups for paul.

Ok, lets put more leggs on it!

Add Shawn Williams for Injured David West so we give Hornets great cap space next year.

Run Forest run!

Now it got legs!

Or, doe we want JJ Jimmer "No D" Nash to actually play?

Whatever the plan is, I believe that Donnie has the skills to make a very smart decision for this team. He hasn't made too many bad decisions and I think he knows his legacy in NY rests on his last moves and he wants to close this thing out with a bang. I'm not worried in the least. We only have a few serious needs and everyone knows what they are.

I'm pretty sure DOnnie has been wheeling and dealing with other GM's about trade options too. It is true that the Hornets have to make some big decisions as do other teams with 2012 FA's. After the Lebron and Melo fiascos it seems the new trend is to make a move sooner rather than later. ie Deron.

Word. And since the Hornets are currently the NBA's team, one would have to assume Stern knows all the angles involved. Maybe he is crazy about Jimmer. I personally don't want the kid as our future PG. He hasn't shown enough to justify giving up assets to move up. If we actually make such a move in the draft, I will expect a subsequent trade to follow, whether it's with NO or another team.

Not interested. If we don't increase the general size of this team, we're screwed.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
