They list many Point Guards in this piece (Believe other positions will be available). http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Situational-Statistics-the-2011-Guard-Crop-3759/#ixzz1PplZZlDw

Here is the Jenkins part.

Charles Jenkins is a statistical beast, trailing only Kyrie Irving in overall efficiency at 1.153 PPP. Jenkins ranks in the top five in adjusted field goal percentage, turnover rate, and free throw rate, being a very well-rounded player from a statistical perspective.

Jenkins scores the ball well inside and out, ranking second overall on finishes around the basket at 1.404 PPS and fourth on jumpers at 1.178 PPS. Jenkins' 1.588 PPS on unguarded catch-and-shoots ranks tops in the entire class, clear evidence of his outstanding pure shooting ability.

Jenkins' ability to create his own shot is also on display in his isolation numbers, where his 1.119 PPP rank second overall on an impressive 135 possessions.

He was on my list of 10. I have a friend whose BB opinion I respect tell me that he had seen him a number of times and was impressed (He did qualify the response by commenting on the quality of opposition).

Not sure of him at 17, but if we get a big man and a late #1, he's a guy I would consider.

I think he makes TD superfluous, though, although his D is probably not as good, and his PG ability is better.

Still think Cole would be a great fit.

"-Norris Cole is the most pick-and-roll dominant player in the class by a massive margin, seeing a ridiculous 34.7% of his overall possessions on pick-and-rolls, where he scores a solid 0.924 PPP. Cole also stands out by having the third lowest overall turnover rate (11.7%) in the class."

Paladin, yeah, I should have noted the competition. But, I think it all comes down to how he does in workouts. Did anyone hear anything on his workout with us?

Gustav - Yeah, I like Cole a lot too. And talk about how important P&R is too us. Low turnover rate and excellent at the P&R is a very good combo. Shows his intelligence, vision, timing, etc.

Back to Jenkins, 6'3" and 220 is damn nice size. I like this from DX:

“A lot of times when coach tells me I need to take this many shots a game, I try to simplify it and put up shots where I'm most comfortable,” he says.

Of course there have been just as many nights where the Pride coaching staff desperately wishes their star guard would put up even more shots.

“Without question, there have been games where I'm almost begging him to shoot the ball,” Cassara says. “He's willing to do everything the right way. I firmly believe if he shot the ball 20 times a game he would lead the country in scoring.”

Hes put together like a brickhouse--if you seen him play--you know that his thing is taking it to the rack with strength but his shot also developed this year. He is quick and strong--but not a high flyer--but as we see every year in the finals--its not the guys who jump the highest--its the guys who know how to play hoop.

There seems to be a nice roundup of second tier PG/SG talent that can be had late first or early second round; one of these guys will realize some hidden upside and stick for 10 years.

I like Jenkins, Reggie Jackson, Selby, Malcolm Lee, Norris Cole, Shelvin Mach, Iman Shumpert, Julyan Stone.

If you can nab one of the PGs that has size and defensive ability (and some PG skills), that would be nice for Knicks.

I like Jenkins and Jackson. Stone would be another big dude I would check out closely.

Knicks don't need a flashy PG IMHO, just a guy who can hit an open shot and run PnR and run team smartly. Oh, and defend.

sad that Chad Ford has the Knicks taking Marshon Brooks who Hollinger has marked as overrated.

I'm on board the Jenkins bandwagon.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

The few times I saw him play last year, I couldn't really get a sense of his playmaking abilities. Do you have a feel his feel his ability to play pointguard at the next level Briggs?

The interviews I have seen with him also make him seem like a very intelligent kid who is also a good kid- things I actually look for.

His conference had some good teams in it, and from everything you read he has done well in workouts. Practiced with Shumpert when he came in earlier.

It would be a great story if a kid who was raised in NYC and played college ball on L.I. played on the Knicks, especially if he has the ability to be a solid player in the NBA.

I would be happy if we managed to pick him up along with a big man in this draft.

Dave Berri (wages of wins) rates Charles Jenkins pretty high:

http://dberri.wordpress.com/2011/06/18/the-2011-win-score-numbers-for-nba-draft-prospects/

2nd behind Kyrie Irving in Pace Adjusted Win Score per 40 min.

Rose is not the answer.
