Watched the film http://kareemabduljabbar.com/osg/ by Kareem and it was very well done. Too bad there is so little film of pre war basketball.

Was reminded the Knicks were the first in with Sweetwater Clifton!

The "Rens" were a great name. Named after the "Renisasance Club and casio" by which they first played there.

Was wondering if the Nets tapped into this history by renaming themselves the "Rens" if that might really be a good move. Tie in history!

Thoughts? Anyone see the movie?

NOBODY HAS SEEN THIS MOVIE YET?

My son who had a press pass met Kareem at Bonaroo two weeks ago and he was promoting it. Netflix is streaming it.

Kareem did history a big service by making this. It had to be done where there were still people alive to tell the story.
