OT but I just watched this video and wanted to share it with you guys.

Jordan made me cry each time he crushed my beloved Knicks, but I still feel blessed that I could see him playing.

The man was a hell of a player... And those finals showed me once more that Lebron, despite all his talents and physical gifts, lacks the fire, the soul, that Jordan had.

James definitely blew a golden opportunity. And all those plays Jordan made were magnificent. That said, we've seen James make comparable plays. Don't forget James is still younger than Jordan was when Jordan won his first championship. Playing with Wade and Bosh and having the chance starting this off-season to build a supporting cast, Lebron has everything set up that he should need. The rest is up to him obviously.

Obviously I don't know what Lebron is doing right now - but it doesn't seem like he puts in the kind of work on his game that other players do.

Dirk talked about loosing in 2006, and how he worked on shooting and all the rest, year after year.

Lebron just doesn't seem to be a good shooter. He's almost like a Jamal Crawford - and Crawford might be better.

Jordan was a lethal shooter from everywhere - that is what made him so lethal and impossible to defend.

I'm not sure that Lebron has the between the ears stuff to ever be half as good as Jordan was.

I think that has more to do with perception than reality. Their 3 point shooting percentages are almost identical. Jordan was a better foul shooter, though. I'll give you that.

Lebron has better physical tools than jordan but has yet to demonstrate the fire on or off the court.

Jordan was not anointed anything. He was cut from his high school team. That made him burn. As a freshman he hit a winning shot to clinch an NCAA tournament championship. Spent Two years being coach by Dean Smith. He had a father and older brothers he looked up to at an early age. Good or bad he got married (commitment) and had a family within some boundries of decency with a women that had a law degree and was independent and intelligent. Lebron's mother is a child, he is surrounded by his girlfriend from high school he has yet to marry, and his friends all who have no college degrees. Lebron gets to make the rules and do things the way he wants.

And thats ok. He is not a bad person, has not been arrested, drug problems, never cheated in school, etc. Just an immature man who has surrounded himself with people and rules that does not challenge him.

Jordan became a private marketing machine who stayed away from politics or lent his name to any social cause. He had very good people handling him keeping very private life while being the biggest brand on the planet. He was driven by a sociopath like desire to win. Jordan was not as playful as Lebron, not as funloving, and certainly was more mature and reserved.

Jordan played two years at UNC so I believe both would be at the same point of career even if Lebron is younger. Jordan never lost in the finals.

When Lebron wins a trophy, we will all seem him cry. Jordan set the crying standard, Dirk did his in private. Lebron will show us all.

Jordan NEEDED to win. Lebron already won and is trying not to lose. Once your the king there is no where to go but down. Fear is not primal enough to succeed over the long run. Lebron thinks like a winner trying not to lose. Jordan understood winning is not a destination but a journey.

Lebron has a better body for basketball. His mind has yet to mature.

Lebron is not even close to Kobe like.

While Jordan did spend two years under a solid coach, anyone think Lebron might have done much better being with coach K for two years? Having to answer to adults for class work, coaches, and rules? Kobe had Phil Jax and Kobe allowed him to get in his head. Dean smith Was in Jordans head, phil Jax was in Jordans head and eventually the final piece that created the Jordan monster. Who is in Lebrons head? Would he even let them in?
