Everysince he inserted Moochie in lineup over Frank the guy hasn't been the same . Frank actually looks lost again. A player usually plays his best when a coach has confidence in him and Frank isn't showing that now.

Frank is like 24 years old. If his confidence is shattered because he was benched a few games he needs to be on the next plane out of LaGuardia because there is no way he can handle NY pressure, especially in the playoffs. He should be mature enough to take some criticism or some benchings.

Give me a break playa.

No what I see is this what role does he play now? If you notice he defers to Marbury even if he brings the ball up as the pg and he defers to penny when those two are in the backcourt together. Just watch and see how his role is not defined anymore, remember when he use to create and kick, now his role is like shandon anderson spot up in the corner and wait until the ball rotates his way. I think Lenny has given step the green light so much that frank doesn't want to act like he's hogging the ball by doing his thing. The guy is playing like ward use to play, he's no longer a "real pg"in actions.

Frank is being used at the 2 spot for the most part. You probably won't see him do the same things he was doing when he played alot of point guard minutes.

Playa whats your arguement? Frank lost confidence because of Moochie or because he doesn't know his role?

I believe frank lost his confidence because coach wilkens doesn't want him to play like he use to play , every now and then you see a lil flair from frank showing his "true fans" he still got it. He wants frank play like ward like bring the ball up and stand in the freakin corner. Frank is a pg who can score, but to do that the ball "MUST" be in his hands ya know.

It's been too small a sample to accurately assess whether or not he has lost his confidence.

This is a good argument for a Frank trade. You don't need as good a back-up PG as FWill when you've got Steph, and FWill is not a 2 guard. Not a spot-up shooter. Better penetrating from the middle than the wing.

No matter how much any of us may like FWill, think we can all agree that our chances better w/ Steph leading the attack breaking down the d and running the pick and roll.

If Steph gets hurt it really won't matter if Frank is here or not.The season will be over. I liked Fwill since summer league but you are making this guy bigger than life. In reality he only had ~5 really good games. He also had major problems with speedy claxton. If you're a great player it doesn't matter what they do to you , when you play your talent will eventually shine thru.
Briggs-- Frank is 2 yrs away from being 2 years away

FRankie is real good. I went to U of I while he was playing and the man can deliver. So I'll give him more credit than thinking that he's now been marred for the rest of his career in a few weeks. Besides, shouldn't he be deferring to Marbury? I mean who's the leader of this team? To say that Lenny ruined him is unfounded. One we haven't seen him play enough. Two, even if he was marred, why is it positively Lenny's fault? Are you a head coach or do you attend Knicks practices or speak with Frank?

if we didn't get marbury and Frank continued to start I think he would've had a really solid season. and averaged like 10 & 5 and would improve even more next year. However, no matter how much more he improves he will never be as good as marbury who is arguably the 2nd best point guard in the league. So playa quit it. Unless you rather have Eisely back with Dice.

OK I will let you guys rant on , but my man frank williams needs to get traded to bring my point to fruition. Marbury should start , but when Lenny had Moochie start over him that was a slap in the young man,s face and it ruined his confidence.

What reasonable justifcation did Lenny have leaving Frank on the bench last night when Bibby was scoring like a pimp last night. At least FW could have played a lil Defense on him and had steph at sg for a lil bit .

For once Playa.. I agree. I don't understand why Frank Williams has gotten so disrespected. If you want to build someones value, benching him is not the best idea. Last time I looked... Atlanta and Portland could have used a young cheap point guard that can defend. Play him because he's very good, play him to trade him, anyone but Moochie (who is an adequate backup.. but Frank can be excellent at times).

Lenny did ruin his confidence by not doing his homework beforehand and playing Moochie. Hopefully, Frank gets that back but it's gonna be hard getting on;y 5-10min a night.
