![]() 1st off I don't expect Jimmer to be there at 17. That being said the Knicks have several options that would be a great fit for the teams needs. PG's with great physical talents and skills, size and length and can score inside and out. I like Jimmer but this isn't like Steph Curry. I think the Knicks like several players in this draft.
2nd I think all these thoughts of Mike not being here are very premature. I fully expect that if he's coaching this season, the team is going to be successful and no coaching change will come. Walsh is still handling the draft and all of his people are still in place. The team is still going to cater to what Mike is trying to do. Walsh believes in the coach he picked. He obviously agreed with his approach. I don't see him going away from that. |

![]() MDA is coming back. I have read nothing other than speculation that a new GM might spell the end for him.
Reasons why he is not leaving: He has a contract He made the playoffs He won 42 games and Who ever Dolan hires is on board with what Dolan likes, and if reports are right Dolan likes MDA. MDA is a genius saint compared to Isiah. So what does this mean? At the 17th pick you either get a guy that can fill a need now, or get a guy who could be special. If Jimmer is Nash (don't forget Nash was not Nash right out of college) then you have to take him. He'll be gone anyway. And don't believe we are going to come out of this draft as contenders. Not unless we go into some kind of trade miracle action. We need either by draft, trade or signing a 10-10 guy that can block a shot. MDA is the coach. Get over it and enjoy the season. We'll deal with it next year. |

![]() d'antoni is not leaving. dolan likes whatever brings in the $$$ and like it or not, alot of casual fans goto see the knicks because of d'antoni's offensive style. if d'antoni wants fredette and he's there at 17, we'll get him. anyways, seeing how our community player (gallo) is gone, we need someone to fill in his shoes.

![]() I don't think that Tommy's view is about D'Antoni being here this next season. The question is, is it certain that he will be here the year after. And if the feeling is that he may not be here, then what Tommy is saying is "Do you draft this year for 1 year of D'Antoni? It's a bit general of a statement as we have so many needs, but perhaps someone like Jimmer isn't really the goal if D'Antoni is just hear for one more year.
