Jimmer can't even guard you, me, solace, tms and the admins
Jimmer is all offense only and won't be a defender in the pros

Iknow Jimmer can't defend but I thought I read somewhere that the Knicks were so impressed with him that they were going to try and move up in the draft. I hadn't read or heard this account of their workout before.

My guess is Melo is telling the Knicks to take Selby and if Billups who has gotten a 1st hand look at the kid agrees there's a great chance that's who the Knicks will pick. The video I saw of the kid he looks great. His stroke is pure and effortless and he's quick and explosive with a great handle and he can pass. I can't imagine that they'd pass unless Billups saw something he didn't like.

I think Morris would be the safest pick, Jimmer will be (at worst, but most likely) a gun off the bench, and Selby is the great unknown... but I do know Selby would have been drafted significantly higher if he was allowed to declare straight after high school and this class wasn't loaded with points.

I'd be okay with Morris or Selby... but not really with Jimmer. I do think Jimmer will be in the league for a wile, but his best-case scenario is Steve Kerr. The Knicks need players to contribute in other areas than three point shooting

Be careful about the conclusions you make when reading these reports. Knowing that no media is allowed to watch, the comments are most likely coming from an agent, or someone in the Knick organization (smokescreen?).

He's a college player. You need to stay away from guys like these.

Trajon Langdon, Morrison, Reddick, Fredette all these guys are very similiar. We need to focus on a guy that defends the paint, does the dirty work and finishes around the basket.

D. Morris would not be a bad pick if the Knicks are convinced he can guard the position. The only real knock on him is his shooting, but there have been plenty of guys who could not shot who went on to be decent shooters (i.e. Gary Payton). Morris is the best pure PG in the draft in terms of recognition and he should be able to run MDA's offense. I would not draft him at 17 b/c I think you get more value with Brooks, Shelby, or Jimmer. I would love for the knicks to buy another pick and draft Morris though.

Agree with this. I am wondering if the Knicks are hedging about whether or not CP3 or Deron or even Billups in play beyond this year. Could effect their draft selection.
