Walsh and Isiah are good friends. Walsh gave Isiah his first job in the NBA he coached Indy 3 years. Don't think that Isiah didn't play a part in Walsh coming here because he did. These games are politics at it's worst. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. We have no idea whats going on.

More like awful thread.

Papabear still loves Isiah and still tries to justify him any chance he can get.

Anyone with half a brain knows that any relationship Isiah and Walsh had is dead.

They have very similar GM path.
Specifically they worked for same clubs.
The only difference - Dony improved this clubs and Isiah made them a running jokes of NBA.

How do you know that?? there are lots of politics going on in this game. I like Isiah as a basketball player and not him coming back to New York. Anyone with a half a brain would know that Isiah is not coming back to New York. And I still say Isiah played a part in Walsh coming to New York. Follow the Indy line and the NCAA Isiah championship line and you will see the connection.

All you can say is that you don't really know anything.

Isiah brought Donnie here to do what? Fire himself? Donnie Walsh has nothing to do with Isiah. He hired the guy 10 years ago in Indiana, then he fired him a few years later. NCCA Isiah Championship? What are on, man? Seriously. You're reminding me of playa with some weird conspiracies which make no sense at all.

What does Isiah the basketball player have to do with the Knicks? You keep mentioning him every time trying to make him seem better than he was an executive. The man is garbage, plain and simple. Nothing you say will change that.

Walsh never wanted Isiah around the Knicks, Dolan did. Then Isiah got a job at some crappy college. Dolan still wanted him around because he liked him so he tried re-hiring him back as a GM. Walsh didn't want it. He tried to hire him as a consultant. That didn't work. Walsh was annoyed that this guy got more respect from the owner than he did...and rightfully so. Walsh is gone and Isiah still remains lying in the weeds like the snake that he is. That's the way he wanted it. Isiah's voice is stronger now and it will be for a very long time. No, Isiah wont return as President, GM or coach but he will always have an influence over James L Dolan.

I think one of the reasons Dolan chose Walsh when Stern forced his hand was because he knew Walsh would be the only guy willing to let Isiah stay employed by the organization and eventually leave with some dignity.

Childs2Dudley listen to me!!follow the trail. Who played with Isiah on his NCAA championship team and what office does he hold in the Knicks orgination NOW!! Use your brain!! Walsh was not that person but that person is in a high position in the Knicks chain of leaders now. Now as I said before Walsh took Isiah under his wings and just because he let him go in Indy that did not mean they had a fallen out. These games are politics. We are just on the guessing end of it. Now Dudley listen and listen closely!! If Isiah and Dolan are that close and Sterns wanted Isiah gone and Dolan didn't want to let him go who would Dolan bring in to take Isiah's place??? That's right a good ol friend like Walsh, Isiah's mentor.

Walsh did a good job of implementing Isiah's plan, nothing more. It had to be done that way due to all the haters. Hopefully the way is nmow clear for Isiah's triumphant return.
