Dude was young.

Lots of big men who life weights and took roids to get big are gonna drop like flies at young ages.

As the "Roid boys of Summer" start to hit thier 50's they are not going to have heart problems. Football has and continues.

Isn't like the avg lineman with 10 years NFL experience mortality avg. 58 years old? IM not talking Lyle Alzado kind of freak roid use.

IM not into wrestling then or now so I don't know these guys. I do remember the Slim Jim commercials.

Can I assume that you were into wrestling in the Bruno Samartino and Jimmy SuperFly Snuka days?

"Macho" man was one of the greatest entertainers to hit the mat. I remember getting his autograph when I was kid. Dude was way cool. Sad day in the world of wrestling entertainment.

Nope. Nacho Libre!

Actually I am gonna come off as a real snob on this one, but I think wrestling in the popular version as we know it (not amateur) is about the stupidest **** I have ever seen. Fake, real or created drama, what ever..........

Im sure lots of people enjoyed it and they made lots of money.

That's too bad, Nalod. But quite frankly nobody cares what you think of wrestling in this topic. It's not about that.

hey. he WAS asked.

i dug the macho man. his interviews were insane. i always liked guys' interviews as much as their ring performances.

i LOVED wrestling growing up. that and the 3 stooges were 2 major influences in my upbringing, both contributing to my getting banned from a lot of peoples' houses.

Very very sad news. :( RIP Macho.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I loved that guy growing up. He was definitely fun as hell to watch and one of my favorites. It's very sad news that this happened. I guess the life expectancy for a wrestler is 55 years or so now.
