There's 3 breakdowns I'd like to point out.

Knicks
The last time the Knicks were this close to .500? Nov. 8, when they were 2-4. They've won five straight as they continue their ascension, and Marbury has been nasty (25.3 ppg over last six).

Hornets
Despite the still-winning record and Mash in the lineup, Hornets are hurting; they've lost five of six and are just 7-12 since the new year. Plus, streaking Knicks are on the docket tomorrow.

Heat
Miami's foray into the top 20 was short-lived, but to be fair, the team's four-game losing streak is against the the big guns of the East: Pistons, Nets, Knicks and Pacers.

milwakee has a better record so they do belong there. but i think the bucks will have an awful second half of the season becuase their schedule will get harder. i don't think they even made a west coast trip yet. so fourth seed is a strong possibilty.

well if ur using that "better record logic", there should b a bunch on teams infront of us. Im assuming theyre up there cause theyre doing better than most thought they would with an absence of a star, ie. payton or allen.

We will drop in the rankings next week after these last 2 losses. However, if Allan and KT come bakc and contribute like they NEED to, then we'll bounce back after next week.

Hopefully we will break the streak we set at 5 wins, soon.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

to me a true winstreak is once you reach 7-8 not 4-5. I think they have it in them once we are at full strenght.
