NEW YORK -- T-Mobile NBA Rookie of the Year Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers and the Washington Wizards' John Wall, the overall No. 1 selection in the 2010 NBA Draft, headline the 2010-11 T-Mobile NBA All-Rookie First Team, the NBA announced today. Griffin was the lone unanimous selection.

Joining Griffin (58 points) and Wall (57 points) on the T-Mobile NBA All-Rookie First Team are New York's Landry Fields (56 points), Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins (54 points), and San Antonio's Gary Neal (44).

Fields, a two-time T-Mobile Western Conference Rookie of the Month selection, ranked fifth among rookies in rebounds (6.4 ppg) and sixth in scoring (9.7 ppg). He shot .497 from the field (fifth among rookies), .393 from beyond the three-point line (second) and .769 from the charity stripe (fifth).

No surprise here, but congratulations are in order. Not too shabby for the 39th pick.

Don't think MDA had any other options at the 2, but props to Fields for making good use of his burn (i.e., up until the playoffs - pressure rattled the youngin).

"Buke" has hopeful for a January Return.

Fields was the opening game starter.

Buke was recieved as damaged goods and cap fodder for the DLee trade.

I wonder what skill will he add in his 2nd season. He is already a 2 way shooting guard.
Everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear- George Adair

2 words: Jump Shot. Fields could also use better handling, but he should really work on his jumper this offseason so he can make open shots when guys load up on Carmelo and Amar'e.

i think fields neeeds to work on his jumper and defense

his defense really sucked during the second half not sure if it had to do with his legs but He really got burned by opposing 2 guards
