I work in a well established game company that has a full-sized indoor basketball gym, and we occasionally see NBA talent come and work out (Dwight, Arenas, B-Diddy, etc).

Anyway, this week, we have none other than Anthony Randolph, who is working hard, and is looking pretty good. Mind you, he's posting up Darrick Martin all day long, but long and short of it is, he seems to have sharpened up his post game and fundamentals. Look for a breakout year from him if he has a rotation spot in Minny.

David f'n Lee for President!!

All I can say is good for him and I hope this is the beginning of AR 'getting it'.
As far as NY is concerned though, it's a year too late.

He is only 21 and has to feel good about how his season turned around after he left here. I am glad to here that he is working and isn't taking anything for granted.

Supposedly he was working hard like gangbusters here when we acquired him...at least that's what we were told initially. Remember he was sitting by Phil Weber's side at the majority of our Summer League games learning the..."he wouldn't be ins, he'd be outs?" Once Pre-season started and a couple of rough games and a handful of regular season games falling out of the rotation..... we were then told he wasn't working hard enough.

Like you said for his sake he can only try and rebound from his 3yrs of poor experiences guilty or not guilty and make the best of it.

This thread needs a "OT" in front of it and needs to be in the relevant forum.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

billy walker can hit the 3. tony randolph can't. billy walker can play. tony randolph can't. billy walker trying hard. tony randolph lazy and stupid. tony randolph doesn't play and is upset -- he must be a cry baby.

his 31/13 is a fluke! the double doubles are an aberration! only on a losing team can he put up #'s! he doesn't "get" SSOL!!!

knicks lost in the first round because we had no depth! we need shotblocking and size!

Papabear Says

Keep talking that and maybe you will believe that. Randolph will be OK. Mike D came in here as the man and could do what ever he wanted to do with the players. We all new the potential Randolph had. The proof of a great coach is to bring out the best in players and not sit them at the end of the bench because you think it's about you. We gave up almost our whole team to get Melo. If we only would have played and coached Randolph to a higher level we may not had to give up Moz and Denver might have taken Randolph or maybe we just might have not done the deal at all. Like I said before either Mike D change his game plan next season or he will be gone.I don't think that it is in him to change.

Getting traded to a team where he can get burn was the best move for AR. I hope he pans out for Minny. Maybe that douche bag Kahn will do us a solid (Rubio?) for gifting them a talented 6'11" PF. One can hope...
