The Moz?

We pick for Denver, trade him for the Moz.

Is there a better center at the 17th pick for us?

One that is ready to play in the NBA?

Bulls could win with Will Purdue, we can win with the Moz.

No way man. Not trading a future pick for old goods. If we wanted Moz we should have kept him.
Had enough Melo?

The question is will there be a NBA ready center to take at the 17th pick better than Moz?

We don't have 4 years for a rail thin 10 foot wingspan 6-9 project to mature.

Who then?

Well you could argue the question is whether Mozgov is an NBA ready center. He has had a few minutes of good basketball in his career so far, but there is a lot hat needs to be proved. We don't know what he would do when teams run their bigs against him night in night out, or if he can defend scorers like DH effectively. He is still too fould prone. I would love to have him back, but not sure I feel very strongly about the proposed trade.

I think the Knicks need a vet to play center. I don't think you fix that position in the draft and I am not fond of the idea of giving Denver anymore picks or assets.

He worked hard, has the physical tools to make it, runs the floor, blocked Paul Pierce at end of game without a foul, had a nice little jumper. I don't think there is anything in the draft I'd rather have than a 7'1 250 Russian that's how old?

Hell I'd have kept him and asked more for Landry maybe tried to keep some picks. Footers are hard to come by. Listed birthday would say he is 25

and Whom might this magic man be? I saw the Moz as getting better and better thru the season.

I don't like giving up picks either but what can we draft that is going to get minutes? I want MDA to have players he'll play. Not Rookie thin bigs not ready for prime time.

What if we can get him for the 17, sign Dalembert and WTF, just "buy" a pick.

Turiaf stays our bench gets deeper.

Unless some guy falls in the draft, I don't think there will be a better player available to us at 17.

I think D'Antoni is gone after next year so I don't know if you chase Moz just because he will play him. Also, I think the only reason Moz got a second run with D'Antoni was because injuries forced D'Antoni to go back to him and he had a huge game. I know it is hard to find a guy over 6'9" that D'Antoni will play but I just don't know if you go back to Denver to get Moz. The Melo trade got the rookie Denver GM some votes for exec of the year.

Could it be used to somehow bring Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis back? I don't think that combo ever got enough time to gel.

I Like Moz, but if he were good enough to warrant trading the 17th pick for him, Denver would not be willing to give him up. I would rather take a flyer on a rookie in the draft. We can always pick up an Earl Barron or someone else to fill in for a year.
Trust the Process

No man, Moz doesn't have the motor and energy to be a great player in the NBA. We need a dude that can hustle. I love Moz but the dude is just a step too slow. I think we can get better at pick 17. Even a guy like Kenneth Faried I think would be better.

Go watch Marc Gasol and talk about step slow. Big guys are always seem slow. Its not easy getting a 7 foot frame to move quickly.

I really like Timo but I think the 17th pick has to be used for a PG.

No way I trade the pick for the Moz. That said, I'd really like to get him back. I'd even consider trading TD or Billy straight up for him. I believe in his potential and he's a legit 7ft shot blocker. But he's still raw and needs a year of solid 20mpg.

I am done with TD as he's too much of a knucklehead to play point, and not big enough or accurate enough to play the 2.

What big man can we draft that is a legit 7ft and still need a solid 20min per game?

Billy is or TD is not fair value for Moz in the real world. Im not saying Moz is our savior, but Im not getting enough solid answers to his replacement.

We need bigs !

I would that trade as well. TD and/or Billy for Timo.

yea... you can tell the guys who really watched him play every minute to see his developement and it was impressive. 100% agree. This would be good for us
