IN his third year gold metal olympian avg 21 pts and 21 rebs per game for the Cincinnati Royals.

Anyone know who we traded to get him from the Warriors?

He took us to the finals in 72' where we lost to the Lakers and Jerry West's only Championship!

Even the Logo man had a time. Lost to the Celtics a few times and the knicks twice!

Jerry Lucas. Man could memorize a phone book. No kidding, he had freaky recall.

Both great players with bad knees. Both had some productive years after. Great trade for Knicks as it got us the quality big we needed. Jerry was only 6-8 but his outside range created big problems. His rebounding was fantastic for his size.

Cazzie never fulfilled his true potential. Career very similar to Bernard Kings as he had a nice two year run with GS before he was cooked. 10-12 year careers were about the norm back then. Players also didn't get in league until 22-23 years old. Cazzie coming out of school was Melo of his time.

IF NBA had three point shot Luca's would have been a been a household name.

Just about the time I started watching hoops..All I could remember he was No. 32 in your programs, but number 1 in your hearts, sporting chops, decent outside shot..I'm stretching it here, range might be 15-18 footers, may have even made a living with the deep ball..Took a type of two hand shot but not awkward.. This team played true team ball..

We lost with him to the lakers in 71-72. We won the championship with him as an integral part the following year 72-73 beating the lakers. Tell the whole story!!!
