So Walsh picks up Billups 14.2per extension, only to shop him all next season, packaging him with who knows who, with tons of rumors floating, maybe a chemistry busting trade at the dealine, at probably the most vital positon in this system (the pg)...

I mean can you see this whole billups thing back firing...

All I wish for is if your going to trade him, do it before training camp..I can not stand another rumor filled season.

It will happen at the trade deadline for someone like CP3. It will be for the better though.

The tell tale sign will be whether the Knicks use any exceptions to take on additional salary.

I don't have time to do the research, but I wonder how many championship teams are able to win without accepting additional salary and going over the cap? It would seem to me that you are disadvantaging yourself if you don't take on additional salary, particularly after trading all of your draft picks. The question is whether the salary you accept back is associated with value or just an overpaid player.

What it comes down to is that it is all in the execution.

You know I gonna spin wit it

MDA is an expiring contract lame duck coach. if not the rumor mill nonsense there is gonna be a "how hot is mike's seat" article every time the knicks go on a 3 game losing streak. can't wait!

I thought nothing he did mattered the first two years. I believe you have even asked why what he did for his first two years is even brought up.

it's true. But I don't constitute the media and fans, right? I mean, look at how you respond to most every MDA post.

I can see our draft choice + billups for nash, not sure if that would be a good trade for us because we still lack depth. If we can add a big like Dalembert for the MLE if available with the new CBA. I think its a decent trade for the suns...

Why are we trading a pick and a expiring for Steve Nash??? I wouldn't trade Fields for Nash......... ok that is going over board the other way, but a year or two out of Nash won't help this team that much.

If your going to trade billups atleast get someone young and up incoming or draft picks..where always trading away picks but never seem to aquire any..
Suppose this team gets off to a dazzling start..20-8, do you still look to move him..
