If we had a real big man who could score in the post, we could kill them. They are so soft down low. We could slow the game down on them and hurt their morale scoring inside. I want to see everyone attack the basket, they have nothing down there but a bunch of 150 pound 6'10" jumpshooters.

I would have preferred that the Mavs beat the Hawks. They will play with more energy and purpose tomorrow.
I wanted them to win too but the Hawks won so we have to beat the Mavs anyway.

This is not bad news. A win will be worth more.
I don't think its bad news at all, I'm just saying that regardless of who won that game we have to step it up a notch anyway because Dallas is a very good team.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

Dallas has never won five straight meetings against New York. The Mavericks also won four straight games in the series between 1986-88.

Lets keep that going.

Welcome to the real world, Dallas will have us in all kind of foul trouble with their style of play. We aren't athletic enough to guard a team like this. For the knicks to beat Dallas we need AllanHouston to play. We will allow them to score buckets or we will be in foul trouble and they will live at the foul line like paperclipps did. Steph can score against this team easily , but they have more weapons who can get it done. Dallas wins 108- 97

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

We saw the real Dallas team last time we played them....leave shooters open and they will kill you.

They kill us off the dribble and we leave guys wideopen with help defense. Marbury might get doubled by Josh Howard, the kid can really play, I wish we had a young swing man like him ACC player of the yr last yr.

The next 3 games are big.

@ Dalls
@ New Orleans
vs. Detroit

Tonights probably the hardest of the 3. If we win tonight, the games against NO and DET shouldnt b that bad. after them...2 home games against the jazz and cleveland. Possible 10 game win streak? (very optimistic i know)

It is quite clear to me that Lenny has destroyed what confidence Frank Williams had going as a pg on the knicks.

NYvector, you can't head butt people out in the open court like thomas did, that was a bone head play by a bone head player who is playing for free agent money this yr. KT gave his people in Dallas all those tickets and he blew it. This is why we need a "real " low post player who has the right emotional makeup. He allowed a rookie to take him out of his game!

I don't disagree with you Playa.. .but it's not like he did it to hurt him... he just tapped his head against the other player's after the rookie got overly physical with him... He should have gotten T.. nothing else.. But I also agree with the fact he should have known better. oh well.. If we win this.. I will be VERY impressed by this team... To win in Dallas without Kurt or Houston is a major accomplishment. Especially since Dallas is playing so well...

I just got in the house...
I spoke to one of my peeps who told me that Kurt got ejected? WTF did he do? I am reading the posts and what happened with the ehole "headbutt" issue?

Only down 5 @ the half, not bad considering...

Who didi damage in the first half? I saw something about Finley & Dirk going to the line alot... Someone fill me in on what went down the first 2 qtrs...
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

See how bias you guys get trying to cover up a dumb move by KT. The rule book states if you head butt a player it's automatic rejection from the game. That could escalate into a fight , that's why they made that the rule. As much as dirty kurty plays with folly , pulling shorts etc.. he went overboard in a big game in front of his folks.
