Just heard it on EPSN, something is torn in that pinky that he has taped which has been giving him trouble. We definitely need KVH to step up big time now, this injury hurts us. On a positive note, maybe Sweetney will get some good minutes.

I want to see it in print. No offense, but I just don't want that to be the case....

Post any web update you find on this.

We also need Doleac and Hardaway to continue with some solid contributions off the bench.

I hope ESPN just made a mistake or something, because I really don't want to see Thomas out for that long. This is a crucial period for us, and we need to continue winning despite injuries.

If Lenny intends to use Sweetney, I hope Sweetney is ready to bring his "A" Game like Frank Williams, was bringing it.

Is it Isiah Thomas that is out or Kurt Thomas? I hope its not Isiah becuase we need him to work becuase the trade deadline is approaching.

Yea its Isiah, too bad, I guess we won't see any trades happen since he can't hold up a phone with his injured pinky

May be it's true, but it's not on ESPN's web site, nor MSG's, and it didn't show up on when I Googled it.

This is what the NY Times says about it:

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/02/10/sports/basketball/10KNIC.html

In the meantime, Thomas is tending to his injured finger. A Knicks official said Thomas saw a specialist yesterday, who determined there was no tendon damage or fracture. Thomas will continue to play with his pinkie and ring fingers taped and to wear a splint off the court.

So much for the rumor. Who said that anyway?

I was watching ESPN, and on the bottomline it clearly said "Kurt Thomas out for 2-4 weeks (then it showed his diagnosis)." Next time I will wait until other major sources also pick up the same story. Sorry for the confusion that I have caused.

Dude if you read the posts you would have seen that Thomas is in fact not going to be out for 2-4 weeks. As I explained in my previous post I was watching the bottom line on ESPN and it said Kurt was ot for 2-4 weeks. ESPN must have made a mistake or something because obviously Kurt is will play tonight and won't be out 2-4 weeks. Some advice, when you post something read the other posts so that you don't look stupid with what you post.
