Anyone know why Carter didn't get any time after the first quarter? It's not like he was so horrendous that he needed to be taken out of the rest of the game, so is he injured?

Yes...has D'Antoni explained this? Id be curious to hear the reasoning. MY theory is that he couldn't afford to have Carter and Jeffries out there with Melo getting doubled

With Billups out and Walker misfiring and Landry a mess it does make sense to play TD more to try to spread the floor. I think VDesai may be right on that one, but who knows

this was exactly the reason. With Amare out, we need offense on the floor even if TD was playing poorly. MDA has shown this season that he'll yank TD when he does something stupid, but couldn't this game. People were leaving carter open, and with JJ on the floor you can't have him and carter out there, it would be 5 on 3 on offense.

MDA is actually a smart coach, I think this series shows that he can coach with the best of them. I give him credit, for not having all of his players at his disposal, the team is doing a decent job. It cant be on the coach when they play bad and not be on the coach when we have good games. We still lost and had mental errors out there. But I think we're headed there.
Boy any atheltic big would have jammed that down KG's grill!

Bring it on for game 3!
