At 14-9 in the Isiah Era, and with Marbury averaging 10 assists per game as a Knick, it's no stretch to suggest they're suddenly a contender for homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Have I mentioned how much I like Marc Stein.

If we win the next 2 games, watch us move up again in those power rankings.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

If we won the next two games, screw the rankings, I'd be ecstatic (pardon spelling) as it is!

Yea I would love it if we could win the next 2 and get to .500. Its only a matter of time before we make the top 10.

Yeah Matt, I can't front on that either... I would be too damn amped!!!

The Knicks would be going into the break (at .500) with the most confidence they've had in years!

Nothing would be a more perfect a note to end the first half of the season on...

This team can be lethal in the playoffs. I seriously think that we have a shot at beating any team in the Eastern Conference come playoff time.

I'm especially liking the fact that a couple teams in front of us had really good starts, and now are startin to slide.

hubie brown is one the most knowledgable bball minds, i cant believe how long he was an anaylst without a coaching job. he is the peter gammons of basketball.

jason williams is awesome. battier is now a stud. bonzi is nasty. gasol is a stud. mike miller is great. stromile swift, lorenzen wright, bo outlaw. thats an all round great team.

Yea I have always liked Hubie and the Grizzlies are a very talented team, they just needed the right coach. If someone told me 3 or 4 years ago that this team would be a top-10 team in the NBA I would have laughed. But this franchise is starting to turn around for the better, and I can only imagine how good they will be in a couple of years. As Matt said, if they had gotten that number 2 pick it would have been scary. If they had gotten the first pick in the draft last year (which they were obviously close to doing), then they would not have had to give their pick away to Detroit and they probably would have Lebron James. Anyway, this team is going to be very good.

Bad news for the Raptors...
Good news for us
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1731160

I really thought this team could be good in the East with a healthy Vince but they really haven't shown anything lately. Now that Rose is injured, they have to step it up a notch.

Good news indeed! They won the game but lost Rose.
That's a big hit for them. Vince won't carry the load now IMO.

With a fracture in his hand, he'll be out at least 2 weeks at best (for them). We just have to keep winning...

This is an interesting read about the Pistons
http://www.detnews.com/2004/pistons/0402/09/f02-58939.htm

It says Dumars is hinting a major move, I hope they are not going after Sheed.

Any one know wat the deal is with milicic? He could b a young player we should go after, especially since Larry Brown plans to bench him for a while.

Darko is basically an untouchable right now, teams will probably have a shot at him next year if he continues to sit on the bench (which I doubt). I think Darko will be in the rotation next year.

Now I have been hearing rumors online that Dumars is going after Rahim. I don't think this is true, but it would make some sense since Dumars is hinting a "major move."

what a difference a day makes.
Rasheed and Abdur Rahim out of the trade picture because they have been traded.

Yea I seriously thought that if either of them were to be traded, it would've been done on the deadline day.
