No with 2 explosive players like Amare and Melo we are defeintly a bit of a wild card. Better to play a more predictable team you can throttle like Philly over a team you probably will beat but could lose to or blow them out like us.

I remember wanting to have a LJ haircut when I was yay big.. but again, I wanted to have high temples after watching Nicholas Cage in Face Off in the cinemas

I kind of think Doc Rivers did do this on purpose... but after they got blown out by the Heat, the six seed was basically assured any way. His team was beaten, badly, by the Bulls and Heat and needed rest. They were 90% likely to play the Knicks no matter what, better for Doc to act like they wanted the matchup to try to rally his troops a little.
Even if they'd beaten Washington, they'd be playing the Knicks because the Heat won their final two games. I think if anything it's a little trick by Doc to get them some rest and maybe psyche them up coming into a tough first round series for them. ¿ △ ?

I personally think that the Heat was so scared to play us that they went all out, balls to the wall, to make sure they beat the Celts, just not to face us in the 1st round
