I think they both could be injured with bum ankles but nevertheless the team has excelled without one if not both in the lineup(small samples of course). They are having no problem scoring and/or defending. Which is interesting because if they were to bring back most of their roster I wonder what a Gallo/Chandler package could get on the open market during the summer.

Regardless they haven't played that well their last few games or so. Gallo played pretty good during the Laker game and I believe Chandler hit a game winner a week prior but they've been extremely pedestrian of recent. Moz has a bum leg too his is most certainly legit

Knuggets draw OKC in the first round and trust if there is any series most likely to set off fireworks it's this one. Perkins/Nene....K-Mart/Ibaka do not mix well at all and have tussled recently playing twice to close out the season. Denver wasn't full strength(got bodied a little) but appear to be so once the playoffs start. I think this series goes 7.

It's certainly an interesting draw for a couple reasons...

1: It's going to be a case study for those of us who want to know if a team like the Nuggets/pre-trade Knicks can actually beat a team that's led by a pair of superstars like OKC is. It's not exactly the same, but in the playoffs the stars play more minutes and the intesity goes up, so it will be interesting to see if the Nuggets depth can off-set Durant and Westbrook. Comparisons are always going to be made until we finally decide which team "won" the Melo deal.

2: I think OKC actually got a good draw here and has a chance to get past the first round and be seen as a legit title contender this year. It's a shame Seattle doesn't get that, but that's another story.

I think OKC is one of the best teams in the league. I know Denver's record is good, and I expect them to play each game competitively, but I can't see them hanging. OKC in 5

OKC could come out of the west. Picking up Perkins was so huge for them. Their team is complete.
2 scorers and the other 3 starters are defensive players.

OKC in 5. Denver really crapped out getting OKC in the first round.

classic 4 vs. 5 match up. Both teams solid. Not like Hawks limping the 2nd half of season in the east and I would expect Orlando to take them apart.

This one could be tougher. If Moz is good to go Denver can throw 3 bigs at them. Durant is unstoppable and if Gallo guards him will likely take a lot out of him.

Problem is with OK according to Simmons is Westbrook and Durant don't have a natural chemstry while denver has a lot of pieces they can throw at you.

Its cool to have an interest in a series out west for a change. Even better to have a series in the east we are vested in!

the one thing I recall when Knicks played OKC was that the length of Gallo helped him against Durant. No shut down obviously, but Durant usually uses those 9-foot long wing span to shoot over whomever is guarding him, not so easily with Gallo.

Durantula is so long...... even longer than his measurements prove to be at times....lol Gallo had his moments but Durant has nailed 2 game winners over Gallo. I don't think whoever Denver throws at him matters whether he goes 9-28 or 14-21 he's going to get his, particularly at the line. The key is to not allow a player like Westbrook have better games than Durant. They also have to match their athleticism and toughness. Perk/Ibaka/Collison/Nazr is a no slouch front court.

Get your popcorn ready for the Flop/Bait Show....Gotta be Top 5 players in the league in this series Durant/Gallo

We'll also see how these guys perform for the first time in post-season and whether they enhance their value.

As a Melo trade supporter are you sure you want to see this? lol

It would be nice to see Gallo step up and truly show he deserves the slobbering praise he gets. I want his game to back up what everyone of his supporters sees in him.

Gallo isnt going to be as good as Melo anytime soon.

I just think Durant is an ideal matchup for Gallo. I personally think Durant is going to destroy him but Im trying to give Gallo the benefit of the doubt.

I think it will be OKC in 6. Denver Knuggs look good, but the playoffs will separate the wheat from the chaff.

It's going to be a by committee cover most likely. I don't see Gallo exclusively guarding Durant, especially how Karl uses his rotations. He needs to be attacked on offense forcing him to play D. Durant is a special talent there really is no answer for him. Better pretend he's Melo talking trash to him
