An unreliable source has it that Spike Lee leaked the Knicks have agreed to wear orange socks. C'mon Son! Orange socks? With white shoes? Yeesh.

Bill Walker needs to get with the program and dump the white laces on his Reeboks. The Knicks color palette on their basketball shoes is all over the place. Guys are wearing individual brands but also individual color combinations. Landry Fields has sometimes worn kicks that are primarily gray. Shawne Williams has his all orange joints. Mister Big Shot can wear whatever he wants. He mixes white shoes with black socks just to be a rebellious slave. On the other hand, wouldn't it be cool if everyone was on the same page?

Blue shoes with orange detailing at home and away would be perfect. Unfortunately, with all the new acquisitions that would have had to have been planned weeks ago by someone visionary enough to contact the shoe manufacturers.
