Anyone like Penny and Hou off the bench? It gives Keith the chance to get it going - I'm a firm believer that the offense should flow from Marb to KVH early - and also gives Anderson starter minutes, which looks like he is better suited for (strange as it sounds). Bring in Penny when KVH struggles/fouls and Hou when Anderson does the same. It'd be the most expensive 6th/7th combo ever, but it kinda makes sense.

Thoughts.

I see where your going with this and it isnt so terrible, but I think with Allen back Anderson is back on the bench with no minutes.
I do want to run the offense thru Marbs and KVH. Allen should camp outside and wait for the open jumpers. the team will flow better this way, when Houston is the focus of the Offense the team stands still and I dont like this. The other thing is Houston has to come back 100% cause he was killing us on Defense before he sat down. If he isnt 100% after the all star break I hope he just shuts it down til he is. I hope they work him back slowly cause they are playing well right now.

that will be the key. Houston better not demand isolations anymore when he gets back. It'll ruin all the chemistry and teamwork we have going right now. Just stand out there and do what u do best, SHOOT!!!

I dont know... is this like one of those threads where Kings fans debate if the Kings are better off without Webber?

You never really know what the answer is. But off the bat, if someone said, start Allan Houston or start Mr. Anderson... you have to pick Shandon - I mean, Houston! (As long as Houston is 100%, which he clearly isn't).

Guns don't blame Houston if he goes back to ISO ball, blame the coach for allowing it. Remember Knicks played motion ball before with frank leading at the pg position and won 4 straight and when houston came back it all stopped and fans blamed chney for allowing it. Houston response was "all I want to do is fit in".

Then why did he mention in the papers that he wanted the offense to run through him? and he felt he needed to post up more. If he demands the same, that is not "fitting in" fitting in right now would be camping out on the perimeter waiting for open shots and there will be plenty with our ball movement. He can still score his 17-20[ts thats way.

Houston is a very sellfish player. He acts like he is all humble, but in reaity he is just a twoface hypocrate. He ran Spree out of town with his backstage politics, suckign up to Layden and gettin big bucks. Then he sucked up to Chaney to him to give him his isos and postups no matter what while hurting the team, and when Chaney got canned he did not assume any responbility for leading teh team into the lottery after claiming he was the best SG in the game. That is all aside from the fact that he can't play d, can't pass, can't rebound, and can't lead. He should just reture and become a minister already along with his fundamentalist budy Ward.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
