is it to late to add Vin Diesel to the roster for the playoffs? I'd like to see him guard Garnett and/or Pierce just one time

SFX: loud buzzer (awkward grammar alert)

Enforcers Who All (at least) Had a Cup of Coffee Here, Who Would Help The Knicks on Sunday

Pat Cummings
Terry Cummings, would fit perfectly in this offense
Marvin Webster, actually he was an eraser but who's counting?
Maurice Lucas, may he rest in peace
Patrick Ewing
Buck Williams, well past his prime when he arrived in NYC
Herb Wiliams, see above
Charles Oakley, recovering from back surgery - Get Well Soon Oak. It was great talking with you.
Kurt Thomas, still kicking after all these years
Nazr Muhammed, don't laugh, he would help

once a knick always a knick

I loved Terry Cummings. Too bad he was here towards the begining of the lost years.....

Sadly, enforcers are frowned upon in today's sanitized, sterilized league. They're a dying breed. We just need a couple of guys reliable to defend the post, grab 9-10 boards and prevent so much scoring in the paint.

just someone to discourage some of the chippy physical play...the kind of stuff that gets our guys dinged up....would of liked to see someone throw a hard foul on McRoberts last night....also just happened to tune in for the O'neil flagrant against the Bronster'...bet that game got close to getting out of hand

Closest thing we have to an enforcer on this team is Turiaf. He knows how to give hard fouls accompanied by a "who me?" look on his face.

right, just before he sheepishly raises his hand and kinda-sorta admits foul.

Man, Knicks have so many wing players. I hope to heck Derrick Brown sticks next year and gets JJ's minutes and that the Knicks add about 3 more guys like him - bouncy dudes who are long and tall and bring tremendous energy.

i hope derrick brown gets a long look these last two games - he'd be a good candidate for the playoffs.

definitely like what i see from Brown...with Brown, Walker, Fields, Shawne W we still have some good young talent with upside. Maybe you can add Jordan to that list also. For some reason, I never realized walker is only 23 and in his 3rd year. Def think we got some pieces to build on. I hope they re-sign Brown...I like his game. He has good defensive intensity and looks like he does all the all the little things like Fields.

It was weird to me to not see him play in the second half against Indiana. Not sure why he didn't

I agree, especially if D'Antoni comes back next year, which from the looks of it right now he will.

Imo, these are the only kind of guys we should be adding at any position. No more undersized, average atheticism type players.

I want Freakishly athletic, freakish wingspan players at every position that Amare and Melo dont play. Which is why i say no to the Morris twins, at least one of whom will be available when we pick.

Derrick Brown is better than ared effries at every single thing, except being 6-11.

JJ is better at help defense, much better. Only reason he is playing. Pretty sure he is more aware of the offensive sets too or at least there is better familiarity. Doing something within that offense is another story.

few more hard practices ought to resolve that. pleaselet d brown in. he can slash t that basket and do something magical. on KGs head.

the boston game should see him play about 25-35 minutes. starters will be resting i'm sure. i hope.

I like Turiaf. Hoping he's resting and ready to turn it on when the real season hits just like in pre-season.

Sheldon Williams and Jared Jeffries have both played better than I expected. It is what it is. Although Howard had 34 against us we won, That was a nice victory with the caveat that Nelson was out. Always seems to be a something till Indiana the other night. Can we just skip the next two meaningless games and start Saturday I'm ready to see the Knicks in the 'real' season.
