This site started in the summer of 2001 (by the looks of the first posts)- which was right after the last time we had a winning record. 10 long years! Congratulations to everyone who's been able to stay through the long haul...especially Andrew and Martin who have kept this site going through all the lean times!

42 wins feels so foreign.

I like what said after the game- it's a baby step, it's not our goal- Previous regimes would have really oversold .500- (of course, they didn't even get there!)
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

We're one injury away from being a 23-win team again...

Yeah, the Knicks must be the only team in the league that would be worse if one of their two best players went down with an injury.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

I found this website while I was in college up in Boston - it was the only way I could follow my Knicks since I had no TV.

It has been a very long road back to this point, we have been through so much but my love for this team has never wavered.

In the past decade we have survived Layden, Isiah, Marbury, the Frederik Weis debacle, Eddy Curry, Larry Brown, many losing seasons, many traded draft picks, the McDyess trade, Lampe, Postell, Glen Rice, and so much more.

The turnaround since Donnie and MDA got here has actually been pretty quick and really interesting. I'm a little surprised at some of the fan base bashing MDA so much considering how bad we were, he is a big part of why we are here now. Also, I give a HUGE amount of respect to Walsh who brought this place back to life. Amare and Melo also deserve a big nod of respect - Amare has done nothing but deliver since he got here. The day he signed he promised us the Knicks are back and that Melo was coming.

Well today the Knicks have a winning record, are headed to the playoffs, and Melo is on the roster.

Sure it hasnt been a smooth ride, but seriously, how can you complain about where we are?

There are lots of question marks yet to be answered: Will Donnie come back? If not who will replace him? How will the rest of the roster be filled out now that our cap space might be tight? This isnt over by a long shot but we have improved tremendously since the start of this website.

And this is just the stuff ON the basketball court.

Now that we're finally on the rise - it doesn't quite hit home what we've been through until you really dig in and look back at all of this insanity.
