Then the next 24 we were 10-14....Too bad this current team cant get more time to gel.

If you add in trade rumors for the next 24 sure let's see this drama unfold.....Put Fields and Douglas name out there that they could be moved for a possible promising starting center and/or backup point guard

Crank the scheduling up too

You could be right, I was going off my poor memory.

Using your numbers it's

Pre = .518

Trade rumors is a poor excuse, all teams deal with such rumors every year. As far as cranking up the schedule, half of the current groups victories are aganist teams over .500.

No one could have been more distracted by the trade scenario than Melo, but his numbers in the month of Feb leading up to the trade were 31 pts, 53 fg%, 6.4 rpg, 1.7 apg, and this in a season that his sister died.

Meanwhile I suppose Chill can be expected to struggle the remainder of this year because it's a contract year, and ditto for Gallo and Felton next year. Such it is when you're the easily distracted type.

Melo def got the toughness and focus factor over both of those dudes.

yeah. I guess Andrew and I add features to this site every once in a while but just forget to announce or make them more visible. It was strange to me to see remarks from some that they still thought the Ignore feature was not a joke any more

It really doesn't mean much to me what the team was before and what the record was after the trade. It's not about the W/L record cuz there's so much change and drama that has gone on during the run up to the trade and after. The time it took for everyone to adjust to the changes as well. IMO this team is much better than it's record. Even without a true bigman, this team is much closer to the top 4 teams in the East than the record might suggest. How they're playing right now is more important than the actual record.
