It will be interested to see what Denver's priorities are next season...and what the CBA looks like is another mystery altogether.....granted, the odds are slim, but it would be good to see Chandler back in orange and blue next season

Wouldn't mind having him, but we have higher priorities.
We need some size.

Think we played well with Amare at C and Chandler at PF.....with MDA's history with centers, a PF could be just what we need

Then how about acquiring a PF then. Chandler is a SF.

A lot of questions in the air with no CBA just yet, but I would love to bring Wilson back. Either you get your super 6th man back, or play small ball with Billups/Fields/Melo/Chandler/Amar'e. As bad as we need a C, I could get behind that lineup.

I think the word you are looking for is 'versatile'. Wilson has proven he can play 3 positions well...but has been vocal...well as vocal as Chandler gets...about prefering to play PF...and as Matt has pointed out, having him as 6th man or playing small are options as well as playing him at the 2 with Billups, Melo, Amare and a C

The only reason we kept going with a smaller lineup is cuz it worked. Right now since Shelden has stepped in and been effective we see the Knicks playing a much more traditional lineup. Mike clearly wanted to solve the Center problem and play Amar'e at PF, but circumstances kept pushing him to go the other way.

I don't know what the Knicks feelings on Chandler are, but I would guess that they'd be more than happy to have him back. He really did fill a very good role for this team with his versatility. Depending upon how cheaply we can fill the need for Size, I think there's a remote chance they could bring Chan back. I guess it will come down to what the new CBA looks like.

They are melting him and use him as foundation? Can lard actually be used for foundation?

I love the Mayor but the Chandler I want first in the off-season is Tyson. Then we can get Wilson.

Denver should own his Bird Rights. Right? If so then I don't see why they would not sign him.

they should have about 10-12M in cap also...but not sure where their priorities are. Nene wants an extension, they probably want to keep Afflalo as well and also, do they let Martin walk.....also, maybe Chandler wants a return to NY and lets his agent know...dunno that, but he did say publicly that he didn't want to leave....it's a long shot...but you never know. I'd def use our draft pick in a sign and trade to get him back...but that's just me talking. Moz is also buried on their bench...our first rounder and Turiaf's expiring + maybe Walker and/or cash for Chandler and Moz...k..k..no like Denver is gonna do us any favors but ya' never know if there's a deal in there somewhere to be made

He's a restricted FA. Denver can match any offer but if the deal is to high for them they may pass. I think he's in line for a David Lee type deal, $10M + per year. Denver has a lot of decisions to make this off season with K Mart and JR Smith becoming FA's and Nene if he opts out. Also, Afflalo is a RFA as well.
