I think most had it pegged we play .500 ball and make either the 7th or 8th seed in playoffs.

with 30 games Team basically loses three starters and its 6th man on a team dependant on a motion offense and brings in a super talent Iso player.

Team still finishs as projected.

For all the hate on the team still delivered.

Follow any .500 team and you see the glass is about half empty or full depending on how you look at it.

Kudos to MDA and the job he did. It wasn't always pretty but it got done.

Absolutely. I don't understand the hate he is getting when he has shown in all 3 seasons that given a full training camp he can field a very good team.

"Most" people thought the world was flat

"Most" people thought Elvis was a trouble maker and the Beatles were destroying music

"Most" people thought Landry Fields was a poor choice in the second round of the 210 NBA draft

I despise the word "most"

Who is "most" anyway and where does "most" live?

There is no "hate" on Mike D'Antoni. There IS an opinion that he is a stubborn man who will restrict a players development by keeping him nailed to the bench. The examples are numerous. Has anyone seen Anthony Randolph lately? There also is an opinion that his so-called "system" is not easily absorbed after the mid point of the season by a roster of tourists.

How mike D'Antoni coaches a NY squad through the playoffs will soon be on front street for everyone to see.

The Knicks are in the playoffs because of Amar'e Stoudemire and a watered down Eastern Conference.

D'antoni is still the wrong coach for this team.

Well that's obvious! This was going to be the case from Jump. It's not like the East is anything less than what we all knew it to be. Tho I think that the East is a bit improved overall.

The team slumped leading up the trade deadline and it clearly effected the young guys we had. I think that the injury to CB was a major factor and now that he's getting healthy the team looks pretty much like it did when he 1st came and they were winning. With the Mini big 3 clicking on all cylinders it all turned out well in the end. We avoided the Monumental Collapse and still got into the playoffs with 3 crucial wins. In those wins the team managed to play inspired and with some real effort on D.

The biggest plus is the bigtime play on both ends from Melo. If he plays like this in the playoffs this team will have a legit shot to advance. Mike held it together despite the fears of many that he had lost the team and didn't know how to use the guys we have. He's found a nice mix that is working right now. Players look more comfortable.
