I think its safe now to look back at the Nate for Walker trade. While Walker probably can't expode for as big a night as Nate can, Walker is pretty steady, and fits into a team concept and isn't a sideshow clown. Neither plays very good D, so that's a wash. Overall, it was a good trade for us, and its not nearly the dumping of a player that we thought it was at the time. Chalk this one up as a win for Walsh.

Not true. The problem is we were trying to run him for 30 minutes a night. Robinson as a spark off the bench for 15 minutes would be sweet.
Boston tried to turn him into a PG and he isnt one.

What about judging his trade as not the one to the celts for walker, but our failure to include him in the earlier, not done trade which would have dumped Jefferies & him to the Kings.
That is the deal that would have actually saved us all the picks and hill we had to do with Houston.

Bill Walker is actually being underutilized. He's a better player than Nate for our purposes. He is super explosive, I watched him in High School. We should have him on the floor more often where he can spot up, head fake and sky through the air for a jam. He gets pretty high. <-------

If you want to be honest about it..He did play some big minutes and a big role for them in the playoffs..If I remember correctly it was Nate and Big Baby show a few games in one series...You need to be in a winning situation to be judged a winner...

U guys are selling Nate a little short (no pun intended really)...He helped Boston get to a Championship...He played an important role a few games in the playoffs...That's important...Bill Walker hasn't done anything for us yet...

Nate Robinson will be out at least a month after getting his knee scoped, according to Royce Young at Daily Thunder (via twitter). This is the first surgery of Robinson’s career.
He’s out four to six weeks, which would bring him back a little bit before the playoffs start.

It's a joke that Mason gets playing time over him. He's a consistent shooter who doesn't need to be wide open to get his shot off and he has a little bit of creativity to go with his athleticism. Defense has improved a little bit too. If it were up to me I'd cut Toney's minutes down big time and give Carter and Walker more opportunities.
