Miami, without hesitation. NY matches up much better with Miami than Boston. Boston has a real team that's been together for several years. Miami has their big 3 and a washed-up Bibby; after that? Nothing. Plus, NY has actually won a couple games against Miami, as opposed to Boston, including a win after the trade went down. If we're going to advance to the 2nd round it'll be against Miami.

I mean to see LeBron, Wade, Antony, and Stat in action at leats 4 times is cool...
To see Garnet and Pirse is not... Unless they are shut in the face but this unlikely...

Heck both teams will be tough. This team just has to take care of business. I like what I saw today from the team. They looked a lot more comfortable with each other. You didn't feel like the Knicks were a bunch of strangers. They were moving the ball and were much more decisive. What I really liked seeing was a lot more MOTION sets. Instead of guys just standing around there was a lot more off the ball movement and it led to some easy scores and much more continuity. More importantly the team has its groove on D and it should get a bit better once we get Turiaf back.

We know the team isn't going to be great on D, but if they can just be decent we'll be in games with a chance to win. I really don't think Miami or Boston are going to just roll against the Knicks. I think either will be a 6 or 7 game series. Mainly cuz I don't like the Perkins trade for Boston and Miami isn't a big team either. Knicks have a fighting chance to make this a competitive series. Winning is a whole other story, but it's not a slam dunk for the Heat or Celts. They're both gonna have to bring their A game and I think both teams realize it. Heck the C's may have won, but they had to fight hard.

Boston way more clutch..if we can keep games close vs. Miami they will tighten up and we can steal games since we have better clutch players in my opinion.

Miami have snipers who can hit the 3. Don't underestermate LeBron.

Both teams have the defense to destroy us in the playoffs.

In case you didn't hear: defense wins championships.

That will never change.

The Heat aren't as good at closing out big games as the Celtics are. I'm not scared of the Heat Defense and when we're going right much like the team is right now, i'm not so scared of the Celtics D. The Celtics are a tough defensive team, but it's their ability to close out close games with smart team play that puts them above the Heat. The Celtics just know how to execute.

This Knicks team has the ability to score against anyone but if we can get enough D it will give the team a chance to win games in a series with either team. The odds are against the Knicks but they've got a slim chance to break thru. I think this team will put up a good fight and that will be very exciting to watch. Imagine we win a road game against the Heat?

The Heat... our lack of depth gets exposed moreso against the Celts. Not to mention, I'd rather upset the MoHeatos or the Heatles or whatever they go by these days.

Gimme the Heat. I want us to make Bosh cry again.

I think the Knicks would have a better chance of rattling the Heat, getting inside their heads. Lebron showed in game 5 last year that he is vulnerable. No easy matchup of course.

I didn't mean to make it sound like it would be easy to beat Miami, and I've never underestimated Lebron. It's just that I don't think we'd have a chance against Boston, a team that plays better together and has much more depth than NY or Miami.

I don't care who we get in the first round just as long as we see constant effort.

Miami...let the hate rain down on their heads. Plus there are a LOT of Knick fans in South Beach, enough to make it less of a home court advantage for LeDouche's band of gypsies.

I was leaning toward Boston, just because of the age difference and now that they don't have Perkins, I am not nearly as worried about size (O'Neals included). But, I do think the Celts are deeper, have more experience and play lock down defense, so they are the tougher squad. So, the Miami Hype are still a bit more beatable because they are prone to defensive lapses that the Knicks need to win games. I'd take another 4 or more games to get my team's act together before taking on the Bulls or the Celts. Gimme the Heat.

I'd like to see Boston after them old legs have seen plenty of playoff minutes...Miami/Boston, both great defensive teams. We aren't getting past either unless we improve and can get stops...with both teams having elite scorers...it's gonna take a miracle to beat either. Very excited about finally being back in the playoffs....we have a PG/SF/PF with plenty playoff experience....they know what it's gonna take and MDA is already saying it's gonna take defense so we have 6 more games to make that a priority. I wouldn't completely rule out a Knicks upset in the first round...but this is going to be a real test regardless of the opponent....right now, i just want to see the Knicks go 4-2 in the remaining 6 games and finish with a winning record

Miami or Boston?
