+/- for one game is not a good stat.

if i lead my team and score 24 points in one game, does that automatically mean that i am the team's best scorer?

one game is far too small of a sample size to gauge anything.

seriously, folks need to stop doing this silliness, either to demonstrate that someone is valuable/not valuable, or that +/- is a bad stat.

I guess +/- can be misleading, but that's not to say that it's worthless or can't be looked from game-to-game.

Same with all stats pretty much, especially for 1 game; there is context.

Adjusted plus/minus is far better. But even that can't be looked at from a game/game perspective. It has to be over a stretch.

Jeffries tends to do well there too, though.
