So one thing I have noticed over the past 3 games is that Carmelo is a very good passer. Against the Magic he had 9 assists and most of them went to Amare when they completed the pick and roll. I dont understand why MDA insists of letting Carmelo go down to the post and get double team or try and hit a difficult shot when he saw for himself what a Carmelo/Stat pick and roll can do. One of the biggest issues is that Chauncey is not playing well because he is not quick enough to penetrate and break down the defense. If you notice Carmelo can drive, shoot off the dribble and pass off a pick very well. Why not turn Carmelo into LBJ and let him run a point forward.

There are so many positives to this, I cant understand why MDA is so stubborn and blind.
