It does seem as though it would have been more prudent not to make a trade. Play out the season and see what you have. See what Gallo and Chandler would have done in the playoffs. Let Melo wait, if he's so mellow.

I would pay good money for an opportunity to sit next to Dolan at a basketball game and unexpectedly just punch him in the face while yelling "Isiah Thomas sucks".

Unfortunately the only person I could punch on that show was Al Trautwig, Kelly Tripucka and Walt Frazier. None of those guys deserve it. Well, maybe Al, but he's just doing Dolan's dirty work.
