I know the Knicks are a joke and there is now a scenario were we might miss the playoff (some masochist will post it at some point).

If they make the playoffs, it will be because the east is so weak, not because they earned it. It looks like we're headed to another sub .500 season thanks to the trade though.

I don't think it will happen unless this team just totally implodes. We have too much talent to not at least play .400 ball and the teams outside of the playoffs suck. So I don't see it happening, but it would be interesting if it happened. What if we missed the playoff, won the lottery and got the number 1 pick, and then had to send that pick to Houston (we might not as I think Walsh protected the pick in top -3). We might need to get into the lottery to give this team some missing depth.
