I'm not sure why the kings continue to keep both of them. There neck and neck as far as skills. And a trade for a better SG would be a better fit, especially on the defensive end. Niether of them can stop anyone realisticly, so why not trade one for a better all around guard. Christe is a solid defender, but a suspect scorer, and although they have enough scorers, Doug needs to come off the bench.

bibby no question. He's a better PG. Jackson is more of a shooter.

Bibby's one of the best point guards in the league.
I don't think Bobby Jackson would ever get voted to team USA

Bibby by far, Jackson has actually cost the Kings a couple games this season if you have been watching. He has a shoot first mentality - and when they are going in thats great..but when you have open teammates like Peja on the floor then you need to pass the rock.

I still like Jackson, but he is not as good as Bibby.

Jackson is a 6th man, brings energy and scoring off the bench, why even compare the two?
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

After taking Bibby #1 in a keepers league a couple of years ago, all I can say is that I'm mildly disappointed in the overall lack of exciting flava in his game. There's nothing outstanding about his game. He's not a great anything-- not a super shooter, defender, assist guy...

He could very well average the fewest assists for a starting PG in the NBA. Chalk that up to the great passing big men (Divac/Miller) in Sacto, who combine for about 10 assists on that team.

Jackson has a reputation as an excellent on the ball defender, and early in his career was compared to Derek Harper. He's not as calm a playmaker as Bibby... he's more of a John Starks type of energy player. That frantic energy costs his team sometimes, but the passive "let the game come to him" attitude of Bibby can also cost the team a game when he's playing too passive.

They're a nice combo to have on the same team since they give the Kings a change of pace... however... I think that team could use an upgrade at the SG position. What happened to Gerald Wallace's development?
